(WBNG Binghamton) Farmers' Market Informational Meetings will be held on Wednesday, February 20 at 9am and 7pm at the Cornell Cooperative Extension - Broome County

Are you interested in starting to sell at farmers' markets in Broome County? Or maybe you're already selling and want to learn about more opportunities available for area growers and farmers' market vendors.
At the annual Farmers' Market Informational meetings hosted by Cornell Cooperative Extension of Broome County, scheduled for Wednesday February 20th at 9am and 7pm, we will discuss the various licenses and requirements for selling at farmers' markets, updates on food safety recommendations for selling at farmers' markets as well as the regional farmers' market, and opportunities to join the "farm to institution" movement as well as which farmers' markets are currently accepting new vendors and their requirements and fee structures.
There is a fee of $10/farm, which will include all handouts and light refreshments.
