Oneonta, N.Y. (WBNG Binghamton) -- The City of Oneonta Community Improvement Committee will be hosting a Housing Forum on Saturday, February 4 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Following an opening statement by the Mayor, the morning topics of discussion will include:
• Increasing owner occupied housing
• Decreasing the number of deteriorating vacant/abandoned houses
• Improving the availability of non-student rental properties
• Improving Senior Citizen living conditions
• Increasing the occupancy of 2nd and 3rd floors of Main St
The public is encouraged to attend and participate in the discussions. The forum will be held in the cafeteria at the Center Street Elementary School in Oneonta.
