Binghamton, N.Y. (WBNG Binghamton) -- Mark your calendars for the Binghamton Zoo’s Easter Eggstravaganza event on Saturday, April 7th and Sunday, April 8th from 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm.

According to a news release:

The Easter Bunny hopped into the zoo hiding eggs around our grounds in hopes that children of all ages would come out to find them.

Upon arrival, kids will pick up their Easter bag, and head into the zoo trying to locate multi-colored eggs hidden in baskets scattered throughout the zoo.  After finding the eggs, kids will return to the Education Center and be able to exchange them for candy and prizes.  For young visitors under the age of 4, there will be a special egg hunt and craft for them to enjoy.

In addition to the egg hunt, there will be crafts, games, and face painting.  The entire zoo will be open between 10:00 am - 4:00 pm on Saturday and 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm on Sunday, so you will be able to visit all of your favorite Binghamton Zoo animals.  Even "Oreo," our very own Easter Bunny will be on hand for kids to greet, and have their picture taken with.

Admission for this event is $4.00 for members and $5.00 for non-members, which includes admission to the zoo.
