(WBNG Binghamton) A Father's Day breakfast on Hiawatha Island June 17.

Climb aboard the Waterman Center pontoon boat, the Susquehanna Shuttle, for a ride to Hiawatha Island, the Jewel of the Susquehanna.  Once there, explore this unique historical site and wildlife refuge.  Enjoy a big, farm-style breakfast featuring items cooked over an open fire.

The menu includes scrambled eggs, bacon, ham, fruit cup, potatoes, baked beans, muffin with butter, orange juice, milk, tea and coffee.

Once on the Island, you will be guided on the trail for approximately ½ mile to the breakfast site where you can savor your breakfast in the great outdoors.  The guides are knowledgeable about Island history and wildlife.  The event goes on rain or shine.

Please arrive no later than 9:45 AM at the Waterman Center Boat Dock, Marshland Road (western end), Apalachin, NY.

Reservations Required by June 13th as space is limited.
Adults:  $18 single/ $25 per couple,
Children:  Ages 5-12 half price; Under 5 free!
