(WBNG Binghamton) FIREBALL RUN, the award-winning film series that helps to find America’s missing children is almost here.

According to a news release:

The Watkins Glen Area Chamber of Commerce and FIREBALL RUN participants need your help!.
Since this streamed motion picture series brings national attention to our area, we want the community to help us form a large welcoming crowd.

On September 25th, forty character-driven teams and their unique vehicles will roll through Watkins Glen. Teams will stop at the following destinations:

• Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel
• Schooner Excursion’s True Love
• Pompous Ass Wine Company
• Lakewood Vineyards
• Glenora Wine Cellars
• Fox Run Vineyards

From 11 AM to 1:30 PM, we need the community to come out to help us welcome the teams as they drive through town and at each destination. This could your chance to have your 15 minutes of fame for your organization/businesses.

We encourage you to wear shirts/gear to represent your organization, business, or favorite local sports team, and even make welcome signs. If you are unable to make signs, please stop by the Watkins Glen Area Chamber of Commerce’s new building (214 N. Franklin St). We will have free signs available for the public.

The vision is to have crowds lining Franklin Street to the Seneca Harbor Park in Watkins Glen or at any of the six stops listed above, waiving and flashing welcome signs. Please contact Victoria Young at Victoria@watkinsglenchamber.com or 607-535-4300 no later than Friday, September 21 if you would like your organization or business represented in the welcoming line!

The teams will also race around the Watkins Glen International race track but that race will NOT be open to the public.
