Johnson City, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Hungry kids can get a free meal during the summer thanks to a food services program with the Family Enrichment Network.
The USDA Summer Food Services Program assists needy families in obtaining free, nutritious meals and snacks while school is out.
Children up to 19 years old can participate in the morning snack and lunch program.
The program runs from June 30 through August 27.
Morning snack will be served from 8 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday through Friday each week (except July 4th).
Food will be served in the cafeteria at 24 Cherry St., in Johnson City.
