(WBNG Binghamton) GHS Federal Credit Union is providing community members with a Shred Day as a means to help them protect their personal information.
According to a news release:
In partnership with Rogers Service Group, anyone in the community is welcome to participate in shredding documents that contain personal identifying information such as, social security numbers, account information, addresses, and telephone numbers.
GHS knows it is imperative to prevent identity theft and fraud and is willing to provide appropriate services, such as the Shred Day. The event will take place on Saturday, November 3rd from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at the Main branch located at 910 Front Street in Binghamton, across from BCC.
This event is FREE to everyone.
