Johnson City, N.Y. (WBNG Binghamton) -- Girls that enjoy the outdoors and exploring nature will want to take part in this Nature Explorers Fun Day on August 13 from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Port Dickinson Park.
According to a news release:
All girls in kindergarten through fifth grade are invited to attend.
Girls will take part in nature crafts, a scavenger hunt, an investigation of ladybugs and butterflies, tie dying, and much more. Girls should bring their own bagged lunches.
The cost to attend is $5 for currently registered Girl Scouts. Non-registered Girl Scouts will need to add on an additional $12 registration fee. Financial assistance is available for the registration fee. The registration deadline is August 6.
