(WBNG Binghamton) Vestal High School’s Varsity Club is sponsoring a 5K Run/Walk, “The Running of the Bears,” on Saturday, March 23.
According to a news release:
All proceeds will benefit the Prader-Willi Syndrome Association.
Race day registration and packet pickup begins at 7 a.m. with the race kicking off at 9 a.m. The
registration fee is $25 for runners and walkers, and teams of eight or more participants receive a
discounted registration of $20 per person.
Pre-register by March 14 to receive a “Running of the Bears” T-shirt.
Registration forms are available on the Vestal Central School District website at
http://www.vestal.stier.org/index.asp. Look for the “Special Announcements” box, and click the
text link next to the running Vestal Bear.
