(WBNG Binghamton) The JCC is offering a free opportunity to community members to learn more about the warning signs of Alzheimer’s.
According to a news release:
Know the 10 Warning Signs of Alzheimer’s: Early Detection Matters is being offered at two different dates and time: Wed. October 31 from 1:30 – 2:30pm and also on Tuesday, November 27 from 7 – 8:30pm. Both programs will be held at the JCC, 500 Clubhouse Road in Vestal. The program is free to the entire community but pre-registration is a MUST so we know how many to expect.

The content presented in this program can be helpful to people of all ages, caregivers, friends and spouses. Topics discussed will include: the warning signs of Alzheimer’s, diagnosis process, medications available, and what you should do if you are experiencing signs in yourself or a loved one. The presentation also has testimonials from people living with the disease.
The facilitator for this workshop is Jesse Cornell, MSW, Associate Program Director of the Southern Tier Region, Alzheimer’s Association, Central New York.
