Endwell, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The Maine-Endwell School District will honor four distinguished graduates at its 6th Graduate of Distinction recognition ceremony, April 29 at the Binghamton Country Club, Robinson Hill Road, Endwell.
A reception will begin at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner and recognition ceremony at 6:30 p.m.
The 2011 Graduates of Distinction are:
Louis M. Giordano, D.D.S., Class of 1983, Doctor of Dental Surgery, owner of Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry, Endwell;
Scott McDonald, Class of 1985, Internet Strategist and Entrepreneur, Co-Founder of Modus Associates;
Brian Murphy, Class of 1974, Maine-Endwell Board of Education President, IBM Certified Executive Project Manager, IBM Global Business Services;
Keith Reester, Class of 1964, Educator, Former Maine-Endwell Administrator, Educational Consultant.
On Friday afternoon, McDonald, Murphy and Reester will visit their alma mater to speak with students.
Murphy and Reester will visit math students from 8:30 to 9:12 a.m., and art students from 10 to 10:40 a.m.
McDonald will speak with English students from 11:30 a.m. to 12:10 a.m. and 12:50 to 1:35 p.m.
A Maine-Endwell Graduate of Distinction is an exemplary citizen who has distinguished himself or herself through his or her community or profession.
This may include service to humanity, exceptional career achievement, or a lifetime of accomplishment in many areas.
