Vestal, N.Y. (WBNG Binghamton) Matthews Subaru announced Wednesday it is hosting an event to benefit the BC Humane Society, whose facility on Jackson Ave in Binghamton was severely damaged during the flood of 2011.
The BC Humane Society lost supplies crucial to the day-to-day operations and is in desperate need of donations. The BC Humane Society is a non-profit organization that relies entirely on community support.
On Wednesday, Dec. 28 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Humane Society will bring a number of dogs and cats available for adoption to Matthews Subaru, located at 3013 Old Vestal Rd, Vestal. Families are encouraged to stop by and meet the animals and take home an application for adoption.
Donations of money and supplies will be accepted at the dealership from Monday, Dec. 26 through Wednesday, Dec. 28.
