(WBNG Binghamton) Matthews Subaru is hosting an event to benefit the BC Humane Society, whose facility on Jackson Ave in Binghamton was severely damaged during the flood of 2011.
According to a news release:
On Saturday December 8th from 10 am to 1pm, Matthews Subaru, 3013 Old Vestal Road behind Lowe’s will host “Pet Photos with Santa” and “Engraved Pet ID tags”.
Everyone is invited to bring their leashed pets to the showroom to have their pet photos taken with Santa for a donation of $5 as part of the Subaru “Share The Love” promotion, which benefits several national charities. Additionally, a pet ID tag engraving machine will be available for pet owners to purchase customized tags for a donation of $5 each with 100% of the proceeds from the pet photos and the ID tags benefitting the Humane Society of Broome County.
Also, throughout the month of December Matthews Subaru will collect donations of pet food and supplies and hope to fill a Subaru the showroom.
