(WBNG Binghamton) Come join the Waterman Conservation Education Center for the 1st annual Moth Night in celebration of National Moth Week and learn about local moths.
According to a news release:
On Friday, July 27 (rain date July 28), lights and sheets will be set up starting at 8:30 PM in hopes of attracting our local moths. If new moths continue to visit, the set-up will remain until midnight. The building will be open. Educational materials will be available and Colleen Wolpert, who is a moth enthusiast, will be here to answer questions.
Wear dark clothing and a hat to discourage moths from mistaking you for the sheet. Avoid bug sprays and open-toed shoes. Bring a camera. Cost is $3 for members, $4 for non-members and $1 for children accompanied by an adult.
