New Vietnamese restaurant replaces old in Johnson City

A new Vietnamese restaurant opens at the location of the old Mekong Vietnamese Restaurant which shut its doors after 20 years.

Johnson City, NY (WBNG Binghamton) A new Vietnamese restaurant opens at the location of the old Mekong Vietnamese Restaurant, which shut its doors after 20 years.

The Phuong Nam Vietnamese Restaurant opened Tuesday on Willow Street in Johnson City.

The new owner hopes to attract old Mekong customers as well as some new ones.
