OFO Gears Up for the 12th Annual River Ride

Oneonta, N.Y. (WBNG Binghamton) -- Opportunities for Otsego is gearing up for its 12th Annual River Ride.  The annual cycling event, scheduled for Saturday June 2nd, raises funds to support the poverty-fighting programs at OFO.

According to a news release:

The River Ride offers cyclists five routes to choose from, ranging from 11 to 46 miles.  Each route winds through the beautiful Susquehanna Valley and offers enjoyment for riders of all skill levels. For a $35 registration fee, riders receive a T-shirt (guaranteed to the first 100 registrants), SAG wagon support, provisions before and during the ride, and lunch. 
 
The River Ride begins at Neahwa Park in Oneonta.  Check-in begins at 7:45 AM at the Skatehouse.  Riders registering the day of the event should arrive by 8:15AM to ensure adequate time to process their registration. The ride begins promptly at 9:00AM, rain or shine.
 
Riders can register two ways: 

•    Online: Visit the 2012 River Ride Website (www.2012riverride.eventbrite.com).  Credit card and check payments are accepted through this option.
•    Mail In: Complete and mail in the registration form available in the brochure.  Check and cash payments only.
