Olum's 11th Annual Charity Golf Tournament Raises $8,820 for United Way

(WBNG Binghamton) Olum’s of Binghamton, Inc. held its 11th Annual Vendor Appreciation Day on Thursday, June 7, 2012.

According to a news release:

Olum’s invited vendors, partners and employees to join them for a day of golf, great food, and companionship. The event was held at Willowbrook Golf Course in Cortland NY.  The United Way of Broome County Flood Relief was chosen as the recipient of the 2012 proceeds from this event.

The attendees were generous and Olum’s was able to raise $8,820 for The United Way. Keith Solomon, Olum’s President, and Jamie Striley, Olum’s Senior Vice President will present the check to the United Way on Thursday, August 23rd at 11 a.m.

Mr. Solomon stated, “For over 98 years, Olum’s has shown our commitment to the communities that we serve and we are proud to support such a worthy cause.”

In addition to the funds that were raised at this event, Olum’s will once again donate a $1500 furniture gift card to the United Way 2012 Campaign as a donor incentive.
