(WBNG Binghamton) -- Project Renew announced Friday that it plans to host Flood Discussion Groups each Monday in February from 6:30-8 p.m. in the Vestal Public Library Lecture Room.

What: February Flood Discussion Groups sponsored by Project Renew, a free, short-term crisis counseling program affiliated with the Mental Health Association of the Southern Tier
When: Mondays in February, 6:30 - 8:00 PM (February 6, 13. 20, 27)
Where: Vestal Public Library Lecture Room, 320 Vestal Parkway East, Vestal
Why: Project Renew is a Crisis Counseling Program brought to this community by FEMA and the NYS Office of Mental Health. We are offering discussion/support groups to bring people together who have been affected by the flooding. Here, in a confidential and safe environment, people will have a chance to share their stories and continue to find ways to cope.
