(WBNG Binghamton) Tri-Cities Airport in Endicott will come alive with the sound of music and muscle cars as the Boys and Girls Club of Western Broome hosts the 3rd Annual Blast From The Past cruise in and awards ceremony on Sunday, June 2nd.

According to a news release:

This event, often referred to as the Tri-Cities Dragway Reunion, will feature hundreds of Street Rods and Race Cars on display, a cross section of the Twin Tiers' best cuisine, and a variety of musical entertainment throughout the day. Gates will open at 9:00 AM and the event will conclude at 4:00 PM, following the induction of the Class of 2013 Tri-Cities Drag Racing Hall of Fame.

Vendors who would like to be part of the event should contact John Mandeville at the Boys and Girls Club of Western Broome via email at jmbgclubwb@stny.rr.com or by telephone at 607-754-0225. Vendors must be registered in advance of the show date, and booths are very inexpensive. The categories include food, car parts, flea market, and commercial.

Exhibitors who wish to display their Street Rod or Race Car do NOT need to pre-register, but should be at the gate well before the 9:00 AM gate opening. The cost to display your vehicle is $10.00, which allows 4 persons to be admitted. Spectator admission for the show is $5.00, and kids 12 and under are free.  The 3rd Annual Blast From The Past will be held rain or shine, and it should be noted that no racing will be permitted, and alcohol is not allowed.
