NICHOLS, N.Y. (WBNG Binghamton) -- Tioga Downs has moved first race post time to 6 p.m. for closing night this Saturday (Sept. 15) to accommodate room for 13 races and fireworks immediately following.
According to a news release:
“We had a large number of horses drop in the box for closing night and to accommodate the horsemen and help get more horses raced we worked with the STHHA to move post time to 6 p.m. This will allow our horsemen racing at Tioga Downs to get their horses raced and still allow proper time to have our fireworks show for our fans following live racing,” said Jason M. Settlemoir, VP of Racing and Simulcast.
Tioga Downs kicks off its final weekend of live racing for 2012 on Friday (Sept. 14) at 6:50 p.m.
