(WBNG Binghamton) The Binghamton Blizzard has announced its 'Try Girls Hockey' event for Sunday, September 30th.
According to a news release:
The "Try Girls Hockey" open skating event will be held at the Broome Community College Ice Center from 3:45 to 5:15.
“Any girl age 12 and under can try on equipment and take to the ice with our Blizzard girls - There is no charge and for this event.” said Blizzard President, Barbara Watson. “Girls of any skill level are welcome to join and our program will teach your daughter how to skate. Hockey is an excellent physical activity and is affordable. Our families will be available to discuss with you all of the benefits of girls hockey and the joy of playing this life long sport.”
