Oneonta, N.Y. (WBNG Binghamton) -- UHS Primary Care and UHS Pediatrics in Oneonta are changing their name and combining their office space, it was announced Monday in a news release.

Beginning January 30, the new practice -- called UHS Oneonta -- will be located in a customized space at 179 River Street in Oneonta.

According to the news release, family physician Stanley Fox, DO, will continue to practice primary care, and he will be joined by Kelly Butler, FNP, who also has a well-established Oneonta area practice.  Joining Dr. Fox and Kelly is Nick Tarricone, MD, a pediatrician with a longstanding Oneonta practice who joined the UHS practice last year, and will continue to provide pediatric medical care. Dr. Tarricone’s staff has a combined 38 years’ pediatric experience. Seltzer stated, “We are confident that our experienced providers will continue the tradition of high quality health care our Oneonta practices are known for, and their new office space will enhance the patient experience.”

Practice manager Chris Seltzer said that re-locating these practices to their new space will benefit patients by offering more convenience in a spacious, inviting environment. “We have designed the offices to be welcoming, comfortable and efficient.”

In addition to pediatric and primary care for people of all ages, the new location will offer x-ray services. Same day acute visits are available as well. Although both office locations are changing, the telephone numbers remain the same. For an appointment or more information, call the family practice at 432-8477 or the pediatric practice at 433-3484.
