(WBNG Binghamton) As you or those close to you get older, long term care should be something you start thinking about. Keith Chadwick from United Methodist Homes was in the studio to tell us more.

He said as people get older, they should start being mindful of a number of things to help them through the transition.

First, coming to terms with aging is important. It's also important to become familiar with long term care services.

If staying at home is an option, there are companies that offer home care.

Also, be aware of good health proxies.
