'Winter Blast' festivities at Endwell's Highland Park set for Saturday Jan. 25

(WBNG Binghamton) Town of Union Supervisor Rose A. Sotak announced that Highland Park’s “Winter Blast” Festivities in Endwell will offer a wide range of activities to children and families this Saturday, Jan. 25.

According to a news release:

The park, which is located on Hooper Road in Endwell, will be open this Saturday from noon until 5:00 p.m.

There is no cost for the event and it is open to all. “Winter Blast” activities include sledding on Highland Hill, a ‘mini-treasure hunt,’ and ice skating at the spacious 10,000 square feet Ice Rink. Skaters are advised to bring their own skates, as skates will be unavailable at the park. Further details on this special event hosted by the Town Parks Department can be found on the Town of Union web site at www.townofunion.com.

Hot chocolate and popcorn at the “Winter Blast” will be served at the concession stand.

Following the “Winter Blast” festivities on Saturday, ice skating will be available daily (weather permitting) at Highland Park from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m under the lights.
