My Name is George Kolba, Jr., and I'm running for mayor of the Village of Johnson City.

I should be speaking about why you should vote for me, but I am not going to do that.

Instead, I'm taking this opportunity to urge you to make it a priority to familiarize yourself with what the proposed dissolution plan will mean to you.

It is up to each individual to decide which way is the right way to vote.

It is going to be one of the most important votes ever, so don't wait until election day to view the entire dissolution plan.

My hope is that we experience record-breaking number of voters at the polls who have done their homework and can feel proud that they took the time to become well-informed as possible in making their decision whether they are for or against dissolution.

One single vote, your vote, could determine the future of the village of Johnson City and also who will lead the village in whatever direction it takes.

I am ready, willing, and able to assume the responsibilities of the office of mayor of the Village of Johnson City and your vote would be appreciated.
