People in Johnson City also took to the polls to decide their next Mayor.

Republican challenger George Kolba lost by more than 12-hundred votes to Democractic Incumbent Mayor Dennis Hannon.

"I thought I'd fare better than but I have to congratulate him and I want all of Johnson City to get behind him because Johnson city's going to need all the help it can to survive this thing on dissolution," says Kolba.
