Flood Warning: Tioga County, NY

(WBNG Binghamton) The National Weather Service receives flooding and roadway damage in Tioga County, NY.

One report from 2 miles NNW of Gibson Corners, NY describes roadway flooding of about 1 foot of water running over the roadway.

Several other roadways in the area are flooded.

In Smithboro, the National Weather Service is reporting reports flash flooding at Smith creek road and Sulpher Springs Road. Those roads have water over them, and are impassable.

Apalachin is seeing flash flooding as well, with water running over streets and running through peoples yards.

In Nichols, East River Road is flooded, and water is going into houses near lounsberry.
