Town of Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Memorial Day is observed in the Town of Binghamton with a parade and ceremony.

Groups lined up at the Town of Binghamton Fire Station No. 1 for a Memorial Day parade. The parade marched down Hawleyton Road.

Spectators arrived to watch the tribute to the service men and women currently serving and those who have passed.

"I have lots and lots of memories because of this," said Robert "Wimpy" Vosburg, of the Town of Binghamton.

The parade route ended at the Hawleyton Cemetery where a brief memorial was held.

Town of Binghamton elected officials and families participate in the town's Memorial Day events. Some say they come every year.
