Town of Union, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The community comes out to cheer on some local students with a parade this morning.

Hundreds of fans lined the streets to cheer on the Maine-Endwell High School athletes.

Boy's soccer, girl's field hockey, boy's cross country and swim team members walked from the Maine-Endwell Middles School to the Endwell Fire Station.

Bringing some special Spartan pride to the parade - the Class A State Champion football team.

Junior students from the football team say they have a lot to live up to next season, but say their team can bring home the title again.

"Hopefully we have a couple guys that will step up and be the new senior leaders," said junior Justin Jacoby. "I think that just the skill positions, the big guys we have coming back are going to take their work and get it done."

Players were thrilled to have the support from the community, honoring their big win.
