Norwich, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The red, white and blue was displayed proud in Oxford at its Memorial Day ceremonies.

The annual parade marched up Albany Street to St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery.

Even though reconstruction of the Oxford Bridge rerouted the parade, it featured fan favorites including the Blackhawk Marching Band and local fire departments.

A memorial garland was tossed into the Chenango River to salute those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

There was also a 21-gun salute on the foot bridge.

Oxford's American Legion's Fort Hill Post placed wreaths at the graves of veterans and saluted heroes.
