Castle Creek, NY (WBNG Binghamton) A retired NASCAR car made a pit stop in Broome County Thursday night.

This 5-hour energy Race Car took a pit stop at the Mirabito gas station off of I-81.

The retired race car gave race fans a close up look at the type of cars that will take the Watkins Glen International track this weekend.

Even though it's retired, fans still got chills being near the former car of NASCAR driver Clint Bowyer.

"Its real cool getting to show off a race car, especially Clint Bowyer's car. He finished second in the points last year and second in the point this year. It makes you feel proud, said Larry Johnson of JKS Incorporated.

This 5-hour energy car is on it's way up to the Watkins Glen International Speedway, where the NASCAR cars will rev their engines for qualifying Saturday morning.
