Two injured in Susquehanna County fire

Thompson, PA (WBNG Binghamton) Six crews are called to a two-story home that caught fire early Thursday morning.

The fire happened around 2:30 a.m. at 364 Starrucca Creek Rd. in Thompson.

Thompson Hose Company says a family of four lived in the home.

According to the Thompson Fire Chief, the house was fully engulfed in flames when they arrived.

It took about three hours to put out the fire. The house is considered a total loss.

Five other fire crews assisted in mutual aid.

One victim with serious injuries was flown by helicopter to Community Medical Center in Scranton. The other victim had minor injuries and was transported to Barnes Kasson Hospital in Susquehanna.
