Conklin, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Two days after water gushes through Conklin, clean-up is still going strong.

Nearly six feet of water still stands in the back of the Jimay's Flea Market.

On Sunday, owners estimate it was about 8 feet. It towered over many of the vendors tables.

Now Jimay's is now working to pump some of the water out.

After hearing Irene's plans for here, they called their vendors to come pick up stuff. The wind blew everything left down to one side.

"We were lucky. That's all I can say. We were lucky. We will get rid of the water. We'll dry up and keep on going," said Jim Clapper, Jimay Flea Market.

Clapper says it will take probably until next week to get everything cleaned up and the water out.

But on the whole he was smiling because damage was not even close to the 2006 floods.

Vendors will be out selling at Jimay's Sunday,
