The Apalachin Fire Department was called to a local middle school Thursday.

But, there was no fire.

Instead, a school full of kids waiting to learn a valuable lesson in fire safety.

Action News Videographer Matthew Serafin takes us to the Apalachin Middle School, for a class that could save their lives.

The Apalachin Fire Deparment shared its safety tips as part of national Fire Prevention Week, which wraps up Friday.
