Accident Kills Bicyclist in Ithaca

Ithaca Police have released the name of man killed after a Fed Ex truck toppled over on top of him. It happened Friday around 2 p.m.
Police say a Fed-Ex delivery truck collided with a Jeep at the intersection of Court and Washington streets in the city.

The collision forced the Fed-Ex truck to overturn, landing on a bike rider and trapping him underneath.
Police say the rider was a 58-year-old Edward Coli of Ithaca.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.The names of the drivers still have not been released at this time.
Police are asking anyone who saw the accident to call them at 272-9973.
