Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The American Civic Association will host its annual Garlic Festival on Saturday and Sunday. The event has been going on for 11 years.

It will feature a variety of craft vendors, musical acts and dance ensembles all at the Front Street building.

Numerous garlic growers will be in attendance, giving the food a little spark. A variety of ethnic foods will be on the menu.

"We just throw a menu together that doesn't necessarily have to be limited to one specific ethnicity, nationality, country,” said Andrew Baranoski, executive director of the ACA. “We try to invite whoever wants to come."

The event starts at 11 a.m. Saturday and will go until 5 p.m. Sunday is 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Adults are $2 to get in and kids are $1. Kids under five are free.

This year, the ACA is also celebrating 75 years.
