Holiday Train Chugs Into Binghamton

By WBNG News

All aboard the holiday train.

The Canadian Pacific Railway chugged its 13-car holiday train into Binghamton tonight.

It includes a boxcar where performers entertain the crowds with singing and music.

People came here to watch at the East Binghamton Rail Yard on Conklin Avenue.

The train also has hundreds of thousands of lights and even a Christmas tree on top.

Tonight's event also collected food and money for the Community Hunger Outreach Warehouse, or CHOW, which helps feed hungry families.

The holiday train began its trip in Pennsylvania.

It'll now head to Oneonta, pulling in at 4:15 tomorrow at the Gas Avenue Railroad Crossing.
