Chenango County Teen Dies in Crash

A Chenango County teenager is killed in a fatal car crash.

It happened in the Town of Coventry, around 4:20 this morning on Spisak Road.

The Sheriff's Office says the victim is 17-year-old Kyle Petkash of Coventry.

Police say he was driving too fast and lost control.

His vehicle hit a tree, rolled over and hit several more trees.

Petkash was pronounced dead at the scene.
