46-year-old Linda O'Connor of Norwich and 49-year-old Dean Sacco of New Jersey are on trial in federal court in Binghamton.

This is the pair leaving the courthouse last February.

They're facing charges involving sex trafficking and child pornography.

Prosecutors say Sacco was O'Connor's landlord.

A girl claims she was offered to Sacco for sex to settle the rent.

Investigators say it was between the time the girl was 12 and 13 years old, and that the adults took pictures.

Both O'Connor and Sacco will be tried before the same jury.

Prosecuting and defense attorney's are questioning a pool of 50 people and more than a dozen have already been dismissed.

Potential jurors were asked their opinions about child abuse and whether it's a bigger problem now than in the past.

Attorney's also wanted to know their thoughts on children lying for attention or to get back at an adult.

Jury selection will continue Tuesday.

The judge has said the trial could take up to two weeks.
