BU Capstones
Seniors in the Watson School spent the day presenting what's called their capstone projects.
These students displayed a Hydrogen Production Unit. The goal was to produce hydrogen fuel more efficiently for future use in automobiles and other machines. "This project probably took the majority of all our time. We spent a lot of late nights researching in the lab, and per week I'd probably say we spent 60-70 hours on average," said Alexander Klein. The students say the unit produced a lot of fuel but there's still more testing to do. 120 seniors studying electrical, computer, and mechanical engineering presented a total of 6 capstones. Watson School professors say some will end up with jobs directly related to their projects. |
