New York State Police say truck driven by 33 year old Jason Barry of Lake Ariel, Pennsylvania, veered off I-88 west this afternoon.

The truck ran into the cable guide rail and took about a 100 feet out before it stopped.

It ended up blocking the highway near the Afton exit.

The truck also leaked diesel fuel.

I-88 west was backed up about a mile before the accident.

The road re-opened to one lane while crews worked to clear the wreck and spill.

Barry was also ticketed for cell phone use while driving and inadequate brakes on the trailer.
