Fatal Fire In Ithaca

Police say 29-year old Michelle Morey died in a house fire in Ithaca Monday morning.

The fire started around 6:40 am at this duplex on 506 -508 West Clinton Street.

2 women and a child escaped the burning building.

One had to jump out a second story window.

None of them were injured.

The fire was contained to the 506 side of the duplex.

The building is heavily damaged and the cause is under investigation.

An autopsy on Morey will be done Tuesday.
