A local non - profit group gives a little girl a bedroom of her dreams.

Action News Reporter Caitlin Nuclo tells us how A Room to Heal gives kids from the Southern Tier a space they can feel good in.

The happiness on 2-year-old Anna's face says it all.

It is the first time she and her Mom, Michelle, see her brand new bedroom.

Outfitted with ladybugs, a new carpet and bright red and yellow walls...

It is a room fit for a princess.

"It's perfect, just perfect. It fits her to a T," said Mom Michelle Drankoski. "It's just unbelievable, it really is. I have no words."

This room was completely remodeled.

New paint, new decor and a big girl bed.

And it's Anna's first bedroom.

She first shared with Mom, and then had an extended stay in the dining room.

Anna has a genetic disorder which limits her physically.

The room makeover was done by A Room to Heal...

A non-profit organization based out of Binghamton

Over the past 3 years they have given 15 sick children around the Southern Tier...

A sanctuary to get better in.

"It's pretty unbelievable. There is just nothing like it, there's nothing like it. You can just see in the glow in their faces and in their families faces, how incredibly grateful they are and what a difference it can make to bring joy to the family," said Project Coordinator Linda Salomons.

With the help of donations and some hard work from volunteers...

This room was transformed in just 4 days.

And all that hard work, pays off...

Giving this little girl, some room to make all her sweet dreams come true.

"Thank you so much for making her such a beautiful place to be," said Drankoski.
