22-year-old killed in crash

Middlebury, PA (WBNG Binghamton) A 22-year-old is killed in a car crash after he drifted into the opposite lane and over corrected. .

Pennsylvania State Police said Stephen J. Anderegg, 22, Tioga, Pa., died just before 1 p.m. Saturday.

Police said he was driving on State Route 287 when he drifted into the oncoming traffic lane.

As he over corrected, he headed into a yaw and the car rotated clockwise.

Police said he exited the roadway and the car, a 1995 Honda, began to roll. Anderegg was thrown out of the car and onto a lawn.

Middlebury Township Fire Department, Tioga Firemans, Coppers Body Shop, Buckheits Funeral Home and Tioga County Coroner Dr. Willson assisted at the scene.
