NYSEG and Vestal Fire Dept Respond to Gas Break on Parkway

By WBNG News

Natural gas was struck in Vestal this morning, but no ones getting paid for this well.

Contractors accidentally cut through a two inch natural gas line in front of the A T and T building on the Vestal Parkway.

It happened around 8:40 this morning.

The Vestal fire department managed the scene while New York State Electric and Gas workers shut off the line.

A T and T, Music City, State Farm, and Sleep World were all evacuated until the line was closed.

That happened just after nine thirty this morning.

NYSEG says the line will remain out of service until the contractors complete their project
