Update: Trooper Shoots Endicott Man 3 Times

Troopers were called to the vicinity of the Downtown Quarterback on Washington Avenue, in Endicott, around 2:30 this morning.

There were reports that a man had a gun.

When State Police arrived the man fled on a bicycle.

Troopers pursued him in their vehicle and followed him to Jefferson Avenue.

That's where the man turned toward troopers and pointed a handgun in their direction..

A State Trooper then shot the man three times.

20 year-old Franller Villanueva of Endicott was take to Wilson Hospital in Johnson City.

He is currently in the Intensive Care Unit.

State Police say a warrant was out for Villanueva's arrest.

He was facing cocaine charges.

The investigation is continuing.
