Bethanie Dougherty Update

By WBNG News

The family of a missing woman from Killawog acknowledges she may be dead, but still asks for help to find her.

40 year old Bethanie Dougherty has been missing since April 1st.

Dougherty's family, along with Broome County Sheriffs announced that there is a 10-thousand dollar reward for any information that may lead to Dougherty's remains.

And a 15-thousand dollar reward if Dougherty is returned alive.

While her family still holds out hope she is okay, the thought she's gone weighs on them everyday.

"It's very heavy. Everyday I feel guilty when I think that way but I can't help but think that way because of the situation and because we know so little about what happened to her and where she is." says her father, Tony Curtis.

Broome Detectives says they are still getting new leads.
