Feast with the Beasts at the Binghamton Zoo

The Feast with the Beasts at Binghamton Zoo, one of the most unique events of the year, is just around the corner. On the evening of August 13th from 5:30 to 8:30pm the grounds of the Zoo will become an outdoor restaurant featuring a variety of foods and drinks from local establishments. Advance tickets are now on sale for this very special evening ($35 for members and $40 for non-members and $10 for children 12 and under). A maximum of 400 tickets are available for the Feast. This progressive dinner will be set up around the grounds of the Zoo to allow patrons the rare opportunity of sharing dinner with such distinguished guests as our Gray Wolves, Spectacled Bear and Asian Cats. .



Patrons to the Feast will be able to sample some fantastic foods from area restaurants and caterers including Gance’s Catering, Lupo’s, Little Venice, Marilu’s Catering, Donoli’s Restaurant and many more. Area Wineries will also be well represented and will feature some of the Finger Lakes Region’s best wines including samples from Black Bear Winery, King’s Ferry Winery, Sheldrake Point Winery, Glenora Wine Cellars and more.



While the food and drinks are certainly enough to entice people to come out to the Zoo for the evening, there will be so much more going on during Feast. Brotherhood will be playing in the Zoo’s upper area playground. Throughout the evening the Zoo’s education animals will be on hand to give people the chance to meet them up close. An auction will take place that will feature a variety of goods and services donated by area individuals and businesses. The auction will also feature some very unique artwork created by the Binghamton Zoo’s animals themselves!



Binghamton Zoo at Ross Park offers a variety of special events throughout the year, including the Feast with the Beasts. In order to make these events happen, there is a tremendous amount of work that needs to be done behind the scenes. Much of this work is done by a dedicated group of volunteers known as the Zoo Krewe.
