Binghamton Man Dies In Motorcycle Crash

A Binghamton man dies after crashing his motorcycle in Johnson City.

Johnson City Police say the man was riding northbound on Route 201 shortly before 11 o'clock last night.

Police say the driver lost control of the motorcycle, and struck the concrete barrier in the center median.

He flew from his bike, and landed in the southbound lane where he was hit by another vehicle.

The victim has been identified as 61 year-old Algis (MIK-AL-A-U-NA) Mikalajunas of Binghamton.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

No arrests were made, and no tickets issued.

The investigation is continuing.
