Binghamton celebrates Security Mutual Life Insurance company's investment in the community.

Mayor Matt Ryan is declaring this week - Security Mutual Week.

It kicks off the life insurance company's educational conference.

More than 200 national insurance agents will gather in Binghamton.

The Security Mutual Flag will fly over City Hall.

"The city has honored security mutual by declaring this Security Mutual Week. It's, I believe, a thank you for the great things this company has done for the preceding 121 soon to be 122 years," says Bruce Boyea, Chairman of Security Mutual.

Boyea says the company is full of great people that think with their heads and hearts.

The company holds a number of charitable events throughout the year.

The most recent was the 7th Annual All-Star Tournament.

Tournament proceeds benefit the Broome County Urban League.
